Norman Reznicow, O.D.

Dr. Reznicow received his undergraduate degree from Rutgers Unversity in 1970. He received his Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1974. In addition to his 37 year old primary practice in Fridley, Dr. Reznicow has been actively involved with this practice since 2004. In his free time, Dr. Reznicow enjoys sports and spending time with his wife, Laurel. He is also a 33 year member of the Fridley Lion's Club.

Trennda L Rittenbach OD

Dr. Rittenbach received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Dakota and a Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University College of Optometry, where she received a variety of awards and was inducted into the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. She has recently received the Howard Freedman Scholarship Award for Excellence in Pediatric Strabismus and Binocular Vision Care for work completed in Portland, OR. Dr. Rittenbach is the author of a recently published paper entailing a custom tinted soft contact lens to enhance visualization during ice sports. She has served the Beverly Hills, CA community working with acute and chronic ocular disease, ortho-keratology and dry eye patients. She has recently worked beside ophthalmologists at OMNI Eye Services in Atlanta, GA and the Veterans Hospital in Lebanon, PA diagnosing and treating ocular disease, with emphasis on glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and post-surgical cataract complications. She is very knowledgeable in contact lens fittings.

Afira Hasan, O.D.

Born and raised in Houston TX, Dr Hasan recieved her undergraduate degree in nutrition from the University of Texas at Austin. She then recieved her Therapeutic Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2005. She served internships in the diagnosis and management of eye disease at Fort Sam Houston and Eye Center of Texas in Houston. Dr Hasan's areas of interest include contact lenses and the management of ocular disease.

When she is not practicing optometry, Dr Hasan enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two children. She also volunteers at community eye clinics and other local organizations. Her hobbies include tennis and attending the gym regularly.

Lawrence Orenstein, Managing Optician

Larry is a 1970 graduate of Anoka Technical College with a degree in Ophthalmics/Optics. With over 37 years experience as an optician, Larry has been the pillar of support for this establishment (under various ownerships) since 1981. Needless to say, Larry is well known and trusted by the many downtown residents and commuters. In his spare time, Larry enjoys woodworking and playing the many guitars he has made for himself and friends.

Kiki Lane, Optician

Our newest addition, Kiki Lane, is an optician with over 22 years of optical experience, customer service, and an eye on fashion! Kiki is also a Twin Cities singer/songwriter with many years working in cover bands and original music projects. She has a solo original music release (1998) “Out of a Crowd,” and is currently in the studio working with her husband and songwriting partner Mike Lane, for an upcoming second CD release in 2009.

Terri Taray, Optician

Terri began her carrier in retail opticianry at the age of 18. Her love for glasses has kept in the field for over 13 years. What Terri loves most about working at Metro Optics is the pride that everyone here takes in addressing the eyecare needs and concerns of our patients. "In a day and age when good customer service is difficult to find, you can always count on me" states Terri. In her free time, She likes to read, go out to hear live music and spend time with her dog, Princess.
