Laura Asplund - Optometrist
Dr. Laura Asplund is a native of Bismarck, ND. She attended North Dakota State University, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Music with an emphasis on saxophone. Following her undergraduate studies, Dr. Asplund enrolled at the Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University. She completed clinical rotations at the Thomas E. Creek Veterans Affairs Medical Hospital in Amarillo, TX; the Lawton Indian Hospital in Lawton, OK; Ketchum Health in Anaheim, CA; and Mililani Vision Source in Mililani, HI. After graduating Magna Cum Laude from SCCO, Dr. Asplund decided to move closer to family and has made the Twin Cities her new home. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Minnesota Optometric Association. Dr. Asplund practices general optometry and enjoys practicing to the full scope of the profession.
In her free time, Dr. Asplund enjoys exploring her new home city, hiking, attending local shows and concerts, and following the NDSU Bison Football team.
